Jaen-Bagua

This area of the lower Marañon Valley is home to many birds endemic to either Peru or the Marañon drainage. Among the exciting possibilities are Little Inca-Finch, Marañon Spinetail, Marañon Crescentchest and Spot-throated Hummingbird.

Connecting Sites
This area is an excellent link between the Tumbes region (Rafan, Olmos etc) and the eastern Andes (Peña Blanca, Abra Patricia). It is a half to full day's drive to these areas.
